Wondering what you guys use for audioapps like cubase etc.I`m not bothered about gaming/dvd too much but nice clear pic with good viewing angle as i like to sit on floor, looking up.I don`t have the room to fly about on a chair like those at studios :)
When using cubase its a fiddle monitoring plugins/mixers on one screen, having to minimize stuff all the time is a pain.My mate is trying to persuade me to go for 2 monitors.
Should i go for 2 cheap 19" wide such as hans or the nice looking belinea 22" on its own?
Any opinions welcome on this cheers

I had/have a 19" ws viewsonic. For use with ableton it was a bit small tbh. Could only get 2-3 decently sized channels on view at any one time. Just moved up to a 22" Asus and its much better. Depends really, rather you utilise vertical or horizontal more. For me using Ableton I prefer more vertical space.

You make a good point,i`m just nipping up to mates he got a belinea 19 wide and if i remember it looked small compared.

we use 2 x 19" monitors in a studio enviroment and if set up correctly it's a good overall display, having cubase's arrangement window (or any sequencer) on the primary display and either the mixer or all you vst's / fx on the secondary, you can get a good feeling for whats going on and can quickly get to the device you want to edit, but sometimes the 2 screens can get a little confusing in certain situations.

but having just got a 22" widescreen monitor at home and experienced the extra real estate on offer with the bigger screen...

i would think the better way to go would be just get a 22" / 24" monitor to start with and when funds become available get another to go with it.

with the single 22 / 24 you can have the sequencer on 2/3 rds of the screen and still have room for the other stuff.

hope that helps.

I'm using 2 Dell 2007WFP (20" Widescreen) LCDs for Cubase SX.

It's extremely handy having 2 screens. My main display is taken up by the sequencer then the other screen is populated by the mixer, tempo track and piano roll/score editor/drum map etc.

I'm thinking about getting a third display as more is obviously better :D But I couldn't go back to using one monitor now (not without kicking and screaming anyway), it just makes the whole experience much more convenient.
