Found a solution (in case anyone else is having problems)

GO HERE AND DOWNLOAD THE OLDER COLOR PROFILE:

Put it in Library/Colorsync/Profiles

Go to the display settings, and you will see two "Color LCD".

You will be able to tell which one is the right one.

New zooming options. Very cool, have a look in the mouse prefs.

Wasn't that already in the 10.4.7? I'm sure I Zoomed with my mouse whilst pressing control and scroll.

Apple's "Color LCD" profile is nasty anyway. Make your own one with SuperCal.
