Yeah I might be, but anything is better than 10.5.6 I would rather go back to using 10.4 it's only because my MacBook doesn't support it that I didn't. haha

Seems to be pretty much maxing my ADSL connection.
Yeah, it's pretty strange. I can stop and refresh the download and my speed changes all the time.
Wish i was getting my full 900kb/s though!

It's like a Microsoft Service Pack. An update containing many updates and offline.
A Combo Update is one that can be used to update all versions from 10.5.0-10.5.6 all the way up to 10.5.7 in one step. From what I understand it actually replaces all the existing files rather than patch them.
I've heard various reports that using the combo is a 'better' way to update than by using Software Update. Personally I've always used software update and never had any problems although I re-built my Mac recently and because I combo patched from 10.5.0 to 10.5.6 I figured I may as well continue using the combo.
