10.5.8 any problems?

Software Update is offering it to me so I reckon it's just hit. It's not mentioned yet on any of the main news sites.

Just downloading now though update..

edit: oi - stop pressing update everyone... it's just slowed the dl speed :p

Anyone know what fixes are in it?

Mate of mine has a 2009 20" iMac and has been having horrendous network performance issues under 10.5.7 (max transfer rate of 800kb/s) which he's hoping will be improved with this point release.

I'm up and running with it on my 2 day old Macbook Pro. No idea what the update does though :p

Update just mainly seems to be minor system fixes and security updates - nothing too major. They'll be getting ready for Snow Leopard most likely ;)

Downloading the Combo Update now* *yawns*

*It is maxing out my connection at 620KB/s

Hehe and attempting to minimise the number of migrated changes if they have multiple code streams for 10.5.x and 10.6.x.

It includes ALL updates in it so you can go from 10.5.0 to 10.5.8 if you wanted to.

I always get it, despite its size, since Apple generally seem to be unable to code a delta update that doesn't break something.
