Arggggggggg it's so annoying.

Sharp camera movement, zoom in, zoom out, cut, zoom, zoom, *shaky camera*... etc. And thats just when they are in the office discussing things.

I don't know what kind for director / producer thinks it makes the scene more exiting. :(

Flipping heck that's bad! I've just switched it on to see what you were talking about and that's possibly some of the crappiest camera work I've ever seen! They must have though "well it works on 24 sometimes, it'll work here for the whole thing!".

Oh and I believe you were aiming for "exciting" and missed slightly ;).

I caught about 10 minutes of the first part yesterday, and yeah the camera movement was so bloody annoying! Was enough to make me turn it over, that and the rubbish acting :p

I watched both parts of this, even though I thought the camera work like yourselves was quite bad it was a good 2 parter. There's been a couple of disaster programs on Sky One now but 10.5 Apocalypse was the better one.

Didn't watch it in the end.

Even my girl commented on the effects being ****. Now that when you know you need to turn over.

The special effects were awful, looked like they were rendered at about 15 fps, just awful, I only caught the end of it though and couldn't work out why they were all crying when the fault line hit the ocean. Also don't get why the fault line stopped when it hit the ocean, pretty sure it would have kept on going, is that right?

For a start, the plates don't move apart and then back together, they move in one direction constantly. It's all down to convection currents in the magma below, these currents don't simply change direction.

I watched about 15 minutes then headed to the fridge and fired up Guild Wars :D
