Just upgraded from 10.7 to 10.8, now on my 32" monitor the scaling is wrong everytime i reset/turn of.

I end up having to go into catalyst drivers and manually change the scaling option of and back on again to get it working right.

any advice on how to fix this?

Why does this affect only some people?

Using a Dell U2311H 1080p monitor here via DVI and don't have any problems.

Maybe changing the DVI port or using some other connection might help.

He said 32" so most likely using a TV as a monitor.

Doing it to me too, it's a bit crap tbh. BUT, as i don't reboot to often, I will forgive the Cat team this time... If they fix it with the 9's. ;)

In the tab to the left of the one with the scaling/overscan bar, there is a box that says "enable gpu scaling". Tick it. That fixed the same problem for me. Hope it works for you.
