Can you get ~10 inch touchscreen monitors to use as a second screen that just need a single USB-C connection for power, display and touch?

i have a new laptop, so have USB 4, USB-C 3.2, DisplayPort 1.4, thunderbolt 4 and all that,

i want to replace the android tablet i have next to my laptop with a monitor that's connected directly to the laptop, atm i use spacedesk, but that's slow and laggy (my fault for using such an old tablet.. lenovo A7600-F on kitkat / android 4)

Or would a newer tablet run better using something like spacedesk?

A brief scout around and I only found one panel that met your requirements and that was a commercial grade low res model that was aimed at point of sale uses.

A newer tablet should smash that lenovo to bits in terms of performance. Have you tried running spacedesk on your phone? I'm assuming you have a fairly recent model with a decent spec, should give you a better idea of performance on newer devices before splashing out on a new tablet

If you can go a little bigger, try the M14t which I've seen as cheap as £150 on special offer. I have the non-touch version and it is a brilliant portable display.

D'oh, never thought of trying spacedesk on the phone... tho it's not exactly recent... samsung S6, so like a 6 year old model... but runs a way newer version of android than the tablet.

it does seem to run a little less laggy than the tablet,

the A7600-F is the ideal size for what i want to use them for (displaying screens found in trains cabs on a simulator) so maybe i'll look for a newer version of the lenovo tablet... i have another tablet (some fusion 5 thing) but it's got a horribly wide screen, like a scaled up phone screen, so everything is stretched on it
