When we asked people to suggest reasons for Liverpool fans to keep their chin up, we were met with blank faces. Still, we've had a good go, although the barrel is well and truly scraped...

Fairly obvious really. Nothing there for Liverpool fans to wave their arms and shout about, but I still think they'll finish 4th.

I don't. Liverpool is a distinctly mediocre team now. None of their players give enough of a damn to go 4th place.

surely there are more reasons for them to be sad.

manager thats on a downward slope
out of the running in the league
out of the fa cup
out of the league cup
out of the champions league
recent news suggests gerrard wants to leave
recent news suggests torres wants to leave
constant unrest within the board
not much money to spend compared to the other top 4 teams
might not make next years champions league
