100 days sober challenge

i havnt got drunk for 4 or 5 years.

It will be three years in May since I've drunk Alcohol.

I wouldn't have stopped for a Ayrton though.

I could give up drinking easily, I sometimes go months between vodkas.
I prefer not drinking regularly, means it doesnt take you very much to get drunk when you do
Plus I couldnt afford to be out drinking all the time.

i'm at about 3000 days

My ex-wife's uncle got pulled over by two of the Northern Constabulary's finest a few years ago and when they asked him "When did you last have a drink sir?" He replied "1969 officer". The OB thought he was being a smart-**** until he told them he was an alcoholic who hadn't had a drink in nearly 30 years. They bagged him and let him go.

Boring! I could do that easy. Even if I got sent free Strongbow everyday I could go without touching a drop.

I honestly don't see what the massive fuss with alcohol is!?

That's only if you get drunk. Most of the time I just enjoy sharing a bottle of wine with a couple of mates or having a quiet pint, certainly doesn't give me a headache. Does cost money though, I'll grant you, especially when your housemate is a wine ponce

I'm the opposite

I regularly get drunk but I am t-toal 5-6 a times a week.

It would be much better if you paid each other £10 a week not to drink... therefore if one of you caves in, the other collects £10! Plus if you both fancy it, no one pays out for that week.
