I'm after upgrading my current 4850 512MB graphics card.

I have £100 to spend, what would be the best for my money? Current PSU is a Corsair 400W, I don't think I'll need to change the PSU?

Cheers

CPU is an AMD Phenom II X4 3.2GHz, motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-MA790X-UD3P, overclockers no longer stock them but I think it's a decent one, payed about £100 for it 7-8 months ago.

In regards to that card, would games look good and run smooth at a res of 1920x1080?

Thanks

They are £107 new, how much would I be saving second hand though? I wouldn't really mind paying an extra £20 if it meant I got it brand new. :)

Cheers

The 5850 is out of stock at OcUK, on other sites I'm not allowed to mention they're around £200, any idea why this is?

The reason for this very low price is because they are currently on a Pre-order discount since OCUK must have sourced a load of them for a very good price. If you can pay now and wait for a week (they arrive in on the 4th) then you will have an amazing bargain.

If you can spend a bit more and need the card ASAP, then this card is also a cracking deal.

Thanks mate, sorry to be a pest with the questions, is there a massive difference between the 5850 and gtx460? Ideally I'd like a card ASAP, but if the 5850 is lots better I wouldn't mind waiting.

Cheers!

Ok will get one on order tomorrow. :) Thanks. I would prefer to get one asap but it's only a week I guess.

Just to confirm it will work fine with a Corsair 400W?
