Hi there,
I decided to go on LotRO last night after not playing it for a good couple of months since TOR came out, and the moment i went ingame, my FPS was sitting between 20-25 FPS, now, i have a 7970 and it can play Metro 2033, Battlefield: 3 on max settings and my 5870 before that managed LotRO fine on max detail, so alarm bells started ringing.
I did some searching through the settings, and it appears when i go above 2xAA in LotRO [max is 8xAA] my 7970 starts to go up to 100% usage, but my 5870 managed 8xAA just fine.
I'm going to put my 5870 back into my system to see if the problem is my 7970, but i thought i'd start a new thread and see if anyone can come up with any other reasons as to why this occuring.
Edit: If any of you saw my thread in the CPU section of the forum, that's all sorted now, i can play those games i specified fine now.
