Upgraded to Windows 10 on Office PC and my HDD (C:) only is now running 100% usage. I have tried this as recommended with a google search but still 100% after 2 restarts, any other things?

After trying stopping and disabling WSearch, superfetch and BIT all worked temporarily. the real culprit seemed to be the pagefile settings. go to control panel/system and security/system/advanced system settings under performance click settings, advanced tab click change, set min to 1024 x your ram to convert to MB and set max to 2 x the min. click set, OK and apply. requires a restart. Stopped my 100% disk usage and windows now loads faster hope this helps. "

I've had this on a load of machines, desktops and laptops. Only thing that seems to fix it is to make sure it's completely updated.

All the turning on and off of things in admin cmd, uninstalling AV, etc was a complete waste of time of me.

It's worth re-iterating here that 100% usage doesn't necessarily, and in most cases, mean the drive is operating at 100% of it's read or write capacity. Simply that it it is *doing something* 100% of the time.

Had this on MIL machine. Ended up wiping and installing from scratch. The symptoms were extremely rubbish performance. An indicator was 100% disk usage.
