100 kids in Ireland swept out to sea???

Just been told by a work mate that its on the news that 100 kids have been swept out to sea near Ireland.... Some thing about a freak wave and capsizing 91 boats they were on?

I hope he has got it wrong, but he doesnt normaly lie about such things..
