Hello to 'the collective'!

I've sold a few computer bits recently, and want to reinvest £100 of the proceeds on an upgrade.

My spec is as per the sig, and I know £100 doesn't go too far but my shortlist is as follows...

Option 1: Another 1GB of RAM - useful for photoshop and general system speed

Option 2: Sell my 805 chip, and use the proceeds and my £100 to get a Pentium D 830/930 - 3Ghz at stock and 2mb Level 2 Cache; concerned it won't be a massive difference compared to what I've got already.

Option 3: Accoustic Energy Aego M speakers - Got to be better than my 8 year old 2.1 phillips jobbies, and I do listen to a fair bit of music on the pc.

Option 4: Nothing!

Option 5: Something else!

I use the pc roughly split between Games (COD2/Half Life2 etc), Photo editing and TV recording/video encoding.

Thanks in advance!

:D Like your style Raymond Lin!

I'm leaning towards speakers... (For rainy days obviously!)

edit (and OT): checked out your photo page, some very good shots in there... congrats.

squiffy, you're scaring me now! ;)

I've never really thought about a UPS before, any particular one you would recommend?

Thanks for the feedback guys, I know it's 'just' a 100 quid, but if you're anything like me, you'll understand the constant need to twiddle and tweak things!

Is a computer build ever finished?!

My wife is hoping so... :D

I'm also liking Mr Mister's suggestion, get tanked up on booze, then overclock the 805 to oblivion whilst riding the thing Dr Strangelove style as it goes nuclear....!
