£100 UK Cashback on HP ML310e G8 Server

See there's currently £100 Cashback on the HP ML310e G8 Server which supports 32GB of RAM out of the box.

I got mine on Friday from <a competitor> for £357 before cashback giving a bargain of £257 after.

Sadly this supplier has now bumped their price up by a whopping £130.

But if you look around you should still be able to pick up this decent bit of kit

G8 is still way overpriced.

from what I see the cashback is £109 on G8, right?

The cashback has currently finished on the N54L MicroServer G7

The cashback on the G8 MicroServer is £109 but only if you purchase the similarly priced and looking Network Switch

Pretty sure it's gone for good. The G7 is end of life, and presumably we are just seeing the last few dregs of stock being sold.

They already have as mentioned about released a new HP MicroServer G8 but it's far pricier.

Oh the ml310 is a full sized server so it's not as quiet as the micros although still not jet engine loud

If it's anything like the ml110 it does get louder when you put PCIe cards in it as a 3rd fan spins up

Such a shame, I hardly use my ML110 G7 because it gets so loud...

My ML310e G8 is pretty quiet to be honest and that's has a additional Emulex FC HBA in it at the moment.

I'd you probably notice it on to be honest. Mine sat on the landing for a few days before I moved to its home and I knew it was on but I wouldn't class it as loud.
