Why is this a thing?

The sorts of people who say it are generally the BS’ers of life who expect you to believe them when they add this to the end of their sentence.

How can you believe such a person when they also have 1000% in their armoury? Or even one million percent? Is saying 100% a bit lame when even larger numbers are available?

Pretty sure the forum software doesn't star out profanity in yellow any more. This means that you wanted to swear but instead used stars and then coloured it yellow.
