Okay so it's almost new year and I thought I'd go all out and build a £1000-£1100 mostly gaming pc for 2013. Having just sold my previous build (recommended by you guys) to my cousin I now have some spare cash. Also my xbox just broke recently and I'm looking into getting back to pc gaming :D. I have also pondered a new iMac 27 for it's simplicity and awesome sleek look, but hopefully you guys can convince me otherwise as I would have to go out and buy a new xbox since the iMac is not really gaming appropriate and quite expensive..

I need:
Computer
Monitor (Over 22" prefebly)
Mouse
Keyboard

I already have:
Windows 7 64bit
Harman kardon soundsticks 3 2.1 speakers.

Are you looking to do anything else or just that?

No only heavy thing I will be doing is gaming. The other things I will be doing is using microsoft office packages, bluej and browsing on the internet and those ones don't require much power haha

Nice build thanks. Few questions wouldn't a 2ms monitor be better than 5ms or is the difference almost unnoticeable? Also forgot to mention I'm left handed.. and I'm wondering if that mouse will be comfy for me.

2ms / 5ms, no difference really.

The G400 is right handed.

I have a Zowie AM that is ambidextruous. However, it's a different mouse. smaller, more like an office mouse in terms of ergonomics.

I would probably get the Sensei Raw for a leftie. Similar to the Zowie.

right on budget.
3570k + 7950 = no brainer really
i own this screen i specced. so i know its good ;p
i know the sandisk extreme is rarely specced here, but its a sandforce + toggle nand, so its pretty quick really
for the price, the asus lx2 is better bang for buck than the z77-d3h atm
great value psu for non-sli systems
decent case
1tb hdd/8gb ram/dvdrw as standard
the true spirit 120 is a good cooler for the price, and you should be able to oc to 4.4-4.5ghz easily (unless your chip is a lemon)
qpad 50 mechanical keyboard (need i say more? ;p)
g300 is an ambi mouse

Thanks that's fine only slightly over-budget, I would say maybe for me the CPU cooler is a little too pricey as I am not looking to overclock much, if any at all for now.
