£1000-1200 First Time Build

Hey Guys,

First post, I've long been interested in building my own pc but unfortunately never have gotten around to it.

I am willing to spend between £1000-1200, I do have a spare 120gb ssd sitting around along with a copy of windows 7 so neither of those will be a requirement. I also have a monitor and keyboard/mouse.

Looking for general use and gaming - wouldnt mind a good looking machine either!

If I could borrow some of your input it would be greatly appreciated.
