Hey,

Im splashing out on a new computer, mostly for gaming and general internet browsing. Could you please use your expert skills and design a rig for me within budget (£1000-£1500) to build myself. - I already have a 24" screen.

Cheers. ;)

Couple of questions before I put together a spec:

Do you need operating system, mouse, keyboard or speakers as well as the tower?

Also, Is having a Blu Ray disk player important for you?

Thanks for your reply,
Im not needing a mouse, keyboard or speakers.
Also a Blu Ray disk player is not important.

How does this look, you could save some money buying the motherboard ect separately and overclocking yourself.

Don't waste cash if you dont have to, this will be just as good if not better with the SSD than the i7 setups.

I do agree with above but it depends on what you do with it, before you get an I7 powered PC, AMD dragon platofrm will play most if not all games on the same setting as the I7 and still be playable slower but still playable.

Because it's more effort having to dump to image software, crop, save, upload, link etc than just a simple copy and paste.

First system looks fairly good to me although I'd probably go for a cheaper case and a second HD for RAID.

Tut tut.

Put some effort in your specs lad.

Dang, from what I've read about 4890's, that's gonna be one NOISY system...
