Hi peeps,

my build from 2015 is now starting to flag from the requirements of modern games. I am looking to finally get an upgrade but was hoping to get some build ideas from people as it’s been so long since I last put something together I am a bit behind.
I have all the peripherals I need and just looking for a new tower build. If anyone has any suggestions of a build for up to 1000 that would satisfy most gaming requirements it would be much appreciated

2 Bays which are concealed in the PSU Shroud. I put a build in its smaller brother the P300, the difference is the P300 you have to take the front Grille off, this one you have to take the side panel off.

this is the base specs of my current pc, do you think it's worth upgrading parts of just going with a total new build?

CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K -
GPU: AMD R9 290 -
SSD: Kingston SSDNow V300 120GB -
HDD: Seagate FireCuda SSHD 2TB (2016) -
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 2TB -
RAM: HyperX Fury DDR3 1866 C10 2x8GB -
MBD: Gigabyte GA-Z97P-D3

(edit) to be honest looking into it, a total new build just seems like a stronger option

You don't need to spend £109.99 on Ram. I would get the Team 3000MHz kit for £65.99 and just overclock it a bit with the dram calc.

A cooler isn't really needed for a 3600 if just gaming.

The mATX Mortar MAX is £20 cheaper. Will still be fine in an ATX case.

That should save nearly £100 overall.
