£1000 build to run blender and games.

Hi

i have been asked by one of my daughters friends to build her a pc on a £1000 budget.

Will be used to run blender and a fair bit of gaming but mainly lower end esports titles.

Open to any suggestions but must include a Corsair 4000 series case as she really wants that.

Any help appreciated.

Swap the CPU to i5-13500 if you can, since it has more e-cores (8 vs 4) and a better IGP.

Which Corsair 4000 case? There's a pretty large price difference between the cheapest and most expensive.

Looks good, you picked the right case, she wants a bit of rgb goodness.

Does the i5-13400 come with a cooler ?

Yep. Something like the peerless assassin would be a big upgrade, but there wasn't enough room in the budget.

I would prefer to use the peerless assassin as have used it before, will see if she can stretch the budget.

Big difference in blender between the 13400 and 13500 ?

In HUB's results here it performed close to the Ryzen 7 7700, even with DDR4 (no 13400 in the results) and in the Blender results here, the 12600K was 15-20% slower (the 12600K has 4 E-cores, same as the 13400).

Take a look at the Zotac 3060 Twin Edge that comes with a 5 year warranty if registered within 30 days or 3 years standard

Agree, great 1080p gaming and 12gb of vram for blender.
