£1000 computer spec needed!

Ok, my friend is looking for a new computer and thought you guys would be able to help.

He has £1000 to spend on the computer itself (he doesn't need any monitors, mice, operating system etc)

The computer will be used for gaming (mainly wow, but wants to play BF3 and skyrim)

He's looking for an Intel processor. Probably either the 2500k or 2600k.

Chhers guys, like the crossfire option... However, is it double as good as the 580 OC?

wow... nice, and I'm guessing the 6950's can be flashed to a 6970?
