£1000 Gaming PC advice??

- Alienware AW2518HF Monintor (Articles I've read state this go best with AMD due to Free sync)

I'm looking to now purchase the base unit of the PC and have a £1000 to play with, any advice with building as I'm new to all of this and a lot flies right over my head due to this being my first Gaming PC.

Helpful replies please, I know £1000 isn't a lot to work with in the PC gaming world. Thanks in advance.
