I've always used Intel processors before myself, but the price and performance difference is making ryzen hard to beat from what I can see. I've got a 1tb sata drive to use from his old PC for storage but nothing else in it worth salvaging.

The list of games he says he plays or wants to play is as follows:

CS GO, PlayerUnknowns Battlefields, Dayz, Arms and Arma. From a quick look at those I think that spec should cope with it and more hopefully.

Anything which would benefit changing or swapping out?

That looks pretty good indeed actually, great shout on the replacements. He wants a plain case so if I keep the Corsair one it comes out at £991.22 which is fine.

the corsair case a couple years old now, and it's internal layout is getting a bit long toothed.
i'd recommend this case instead (there's no 5.25 inch bay - if that matters):

the corsair 100r (and also the p300 i listed) come with only 1 fan installed. it's advisable to get at least one more for better airflow within the case
