Currently looking for a gaming spec PC! Thanks for helping me out :)

Requirements: Just a Tower, prefer an SSD, 1-2TB internal storage.
Use: Primarily Gaming, light Uni Work (Nothing heavy).
Price: Would'nt mind pushing towards £1100. (Maximum ideally)

Not planning on overclocking, although for the price if I could get a custom cooler and low profile ram to accomdate (if required), I would overclock down the road.

After abit of research it seems for the price range an i5 (Haswell) and 280x would be ideal?

Also seen a few builds that prefer Gigabyte Z87 boards, and a few which have MSI Z87-G45. Is this down to personal colour choices or board preferences, or does one bring certain advantages to the table then the other, or am I simply overthinking this. :(

Colour would be nice! (leaning towards the MSI Z87 red/black theme) Although it is not a must. :D

Hope thats everything, if you need more information please ask and thank you (:

White/black/red theme.

You would need a bigger psu for crossfire.

:D Thanks for the awesome builds. Has helped me very much!

I just have a few questions, the board which i likely will be going with is the msi z87-g45. the memory specification located at the bottom of the page displays a different spec compared to the official website for the board.

overclockers -
memory speed (mhz): 1066/1333/1600/1866/2000/2133/2200/2400/2600*/2666*/2800*/3000* (*overclocked)

MSI

Support four DDR3 1066/1333/1600/1866*/2000*/2133*/2200*/2400*/2600*/2666*/2800*/3000*(*OC) MHz DRAM, 32GB Max

Isit safe to presume Overclockers has this in regards to a later BIOS version? Which allows higher stock memory frequencies to be able to run on the board?
