1000 iTunes credit but no iDevice.

Ok Just got notified that i have won 1000 credits (songs) for iTunes, but i have no i devices to use them with. I know i can sync itunes stuff to my Android but whats the current state with DRM?

Most music on iTunes is DRM free and has been for ages. But there may be a few legacy tracks where the higher bitrate DRM free tracks haven't been provided by the record label and as such the older 128kbps DRM tracks are still sold. That is very rare though, and I've never had one personally.

As said, ~99.9% hasn't got it on at all, leaving it free for you to sync onto non-iOS devices.

I can confirm that the vast majority of audio content on iTunes is 256K AAC and DRM free.

If you didn't enter a competition to win those, then it's likely to be a scam (and unless things have changed since I last purchased a song off iTunes, there's no such thing a credits for songs).

I did enter it was a comp from the Sun perks. basically its song credits, i had to look up to find more info myself. Some album only songs I cant purchase with them.
