As title really. Could use a nice WS Monitor and the best of whatever else I can get really, I only really play World of Warcraft on my PC but it's more demanding than it looks and I need it to run perfectly.

Thanks in advance.

This rig is massive overkill for that game so it should do for quite some time. £1000 is really too much for a WoW rig IMO.

1680x1050 Res. would be sweet, I have a erm... mouse and speakers I could keep :p Optical drives too at a push but the system is AGP/S939/DDR1 etc. So it's rather old.

As a side note, I wont be upgrading the PC majorly for some time after I've built it, I would like it to work with some new games when they come out too, Starcraft 2 etc. I have nothing else to spend the money on, so what options do I have to add to the spec above which seems fairly decent.

TIA.

Edit- Guild mate says he's running a 3850 512MB and he had to turn 8x multisampling off or down to get "smooth fps" in a certain encounter. He said he had about 35fps with the sampling off and 15 with it on. if so, the game is more demanding than some people think ? :p

He's using an E4500 @ 2.8Ghz also.

Any ideas? I really dont find that sort of FPS Perfect :p

Well, I suppose you can take my above spec and add an 8800 GTX without trouble since there's so much money left in the budget. Bear in mind that the 8800 GT is a much faster card than the 3850. The 3850 is really more competitive with the 8600 GTS, besting it by about 15 to 25% in the reviews I've seen.

i'd go with billy's last comment and add the GTX to his initial spec, or drop the monitor to the 20" version and a GTS.
