£1000 upgrade, need advice on Z77 board!

Hey guys, so I'm gonna order the parts for my new system tomorrow, but wanted some quick advice as my motherboard of choice (ASRock Z77 Extreme4) is out of stock.

I'm thinking about the Gigabyte Z77X-D3H, which is on offer this week. Safe bet?

Gigabyte Z77X-D3H is a good board.

If you are really into overclocking and/or SLI then I would recommend something else.

The Z77X-D3H supports SLI and is fine at overclocking.

In that case, the CrucialM4 use to be good, but has been passed by the Samsung 830 and the OCZ vertex4 now.

ASUS from what I read tend to have better sound cards.

The specs on the OCZ are pretty insane, especially the write speed. I've gone for it.

Coming from a E8400, HD5850 and a PATA hard drive, I imagine it's gonna feel a bit different
