£1000 upgrade

If you guys remember my post about my cousin buying a gaming pc not too long ago, well long story short he needed money so he sold his PC without the case.

So long story short again lol, his mate wanted a PC, so my cousin gave him his old case (thermaltake level 10 GT case for £100 quid) because he is going uni this year and wants a very powerful PC that will also play games. (skyrIm, guildwars2 , BF3, SWTOR, Diablo 3)

His budget is £1000, he has got an OS, mouse, KB, monitor. He just needs the hardware that makes the PC. He will also do some live streaming of various games and such so yh. HE will upgrade to IVy bridge once he actually attends uni but for now wants a PC.

The 7970's will be hitting £360 in a few days as per Gibbo. So the spec would then change to whichever 7970 is at that price point instead of a GTX 680.

I would get the Asus Xonar DG as well as per the first build but that will take you over budget a bit although not when 7970 prices drop.
