So my old rig was throwing BSOD`s every now and then and my attempt to find the problem ended up in PSU main on/off switch going kaput. So I feel like it`s time for some fresh bits and bobs. I have about £1k for the upgrade but I can flex £200 or £300 as I have to fit both the pc and a nice monitor (4k or a G-sync) into £2k`s.
There are so many options out there now, maybe you guys could give me a few hints.
my current system
q9950, 580GTX(3GB), 8GB DDR3, Asus Rampage Extreme Intel X48

I`m keeping the case, 4 x hdds, 2 x ssd`s, and antec h20 920 cooler. I am intel and nvidia biased. Any suggestions guys?

If you're looking at 4k maybe best to get a 1000w leadex, to potentially handle 780ti SLI. That can slip into your £2k budget easy. :)

You'll need that power for 4k games.
