£1000 watch?

Guys,

It's my 30th soon and the wife is asking about presents...
I quite fancy a new watch.

I just wear a cheapy £10 Pulsar at the moment, so want to "upgrade"

So what can I get?
Links to examples would be good. (I don't think OcUK sell watches, so shouldn't be any competition laws?)

Yeah, something like the Seamaster that Gilly posted and the Tag like Rivey posted.
They are what I kinda had in mind.

I guess there's nothing in it, in terms of "better"? Other than choice?

I'm not a watch snob... hence my £10 pulsar currently...
However...

As it's my 30th (landmark, in our family) then I've been asked to choose a decent watch as a long lasting gift.

Haha, thread resurrection....
Still have my Tag watch! Now nearly 16yrs on!
Must get it serviced and pressed back into service as I'm needing an analogue watch instead of a smart watch at work.
