Hi,

Could you put together a gaming rig for me with a £1000 budget in mind, I don't require a monitor, keyboard or mouse. I would pref. a black case and no fancy unnecessary stuff!

The price should include the cost to build it too, as I won't be doing that myself. I'm also using 2 monitors and the possibility of streaming in the near future.

thanks in advance.

Thanks a lot Shivvy011, any suggestions to which Nvidia card I should go for and whether it would be compatible with what you put together?

All of this is a grey area for me so I appreciate all the input.

I'm just looking for something that I can play current and future games on really - I'm not bothered about the noise or portability etc.

My PC at the moment is a Advent SQ9204 - with a different graphics card but its very old now and it was never very good to start with anyway, I believe some things could be salvaged from it but I really don't know anything about building PC's and compatibility so I'll just give it a miss.

I also have 2 x BenQ RL2455HM 24 inch 1080p Full HD LED Monitors, which are 60hz not 120hz.

I will need windows - not office though; I can raise the budget to £1200 to help accommodate this

Will the case/tower have an eternet port and room for a wireless adapter? (both of these I have already) - the more USB ports the better as I have quite a few different extras (headset, mouse, keyboard, apple cord).

thanks for the support

Is there much difference between the Asus Radeon R9 290 DirectCU II OC 4096MB GDDR5 PC and the Gainward GeForce GTX 780 Phantom 3072MB GDDR5 PCI?

Ok last question to clear things up, where do I select the option for overclockers to put everything together?

apart from that, thanks a lot to everyone who helped!
