Anyone reccomend a good 1000w+ psu, need it to power the spec in sig. Im currently running a corsair hx850w, but i want to clock my gpu's a bit higher. Seen a few horror stories of motheboards being taken out with 850w psu's and similair cards on i7 9** series cpu's. Budget of about £170.00, id love another corsair, but theyre too expensive and the flat modular cables are rubbish.

Surely the 850w corsair should be fine? But if it's true that some motherboard have been taken out...

Ive been looking at those ocz's, according to a review on johnnyguru, they can whine a bit at high load, so im not so sure just yet.

Silverstone Strider?

They do a Gold rated one with a -G in the name.

Didnt even know that silverstone had psu's in their product range stulid, whos the oem or is it silverstone in house?

EDIT, ill be selling my hx850w on to help fund a new psu. Its about 2 years old.

Yeah, enermax, i have a galaxy 600w+ unit in a cupboard somewhere, great psu's, i could run two psu's as my case has dual psu slots. But it would be a bit of a hassle, not to mention a cable mess.
