100fps in crysis? Bleh

I only get around 40 odds in that with a 295, (i think benchmark gives some error as it ends). Only a q6600 @ 3.6 though.

I ran it in dx9 mode. His cpu's also clocked almost 1ghz faster than mine.

I think mine was around 40 odds, when the benchmark exited it gave some error and never displayed any results. Suprised yours didn't come closer to his.

yeah i got 2 nvidia 9600gt's in sli ... but would kill for a couple of 5800's from ati ...

maybe that guy will buy me one for christmas ... i think he has enough money lol

That's an error, it was actually running at 4Ghz

I thought 32-bit apps could only use upto 2gb of RAM?

Technically they can use more although it is highly unlikely the application was coded to be able to use more, the limitation is basically the same in x64 windows too.

I bought Crysis when it first came out and tried to play it on my E6750 dual core with a 3870 and gave up as it was a slide show. Crysis is still sitting in my drawer waiting to be re-installed when I have the hardware capable of running it at 1920 X1080 @ 60fps. I currently have quad core phenom 2, 4gb memory and 4890 and am still not there!
Maybe after my next upgrade eh!
