Wow what a difference this from our sky line which at the start was at roughly 4MB and it slowly got down to a average of 2.6MB and this last week not even a 100mb.

Would on sky at average (ignoring the last 10 days or so) we could download at roughly 310KB's on p2p, and would get close to 500kb from places like steam.

I just downloaded Dawn of War II Retribution on Steam and it sat at very close to 10MB down.

We get an average speed test 93995Kb down and 9183 up, tis loverly :)

I guess he is on virgin media, the limit depends on where you live. If it's undersubscribed you probably won't get lettered. My street has 100mbit, only a tenner extra but I can't say that I am unhappy with 50mbit.

erm no limit we have TV with sky and telephone and its around £70 a month, less than we were paying sky for the same deal which was about £93 a month, and a added bonus is we got 6 months at half price which is £36.18 on the dot ( checked :p)

Unlimited but VM throttle all p2p stuff from 5 pm to midnight in the week and midday to midnight on the weekend, and even with that I still get a speed of around 6MB while being as they call it shaped :)

with the new r30 firmware the wireless issue is supposed to be fixed I stream to the Xbox with no problem, and missus son uses his laptop ..so far no problems but time will tell.

Look at it this way they have a 28 day unhappiness rule, so take it use for 26 days and cancel :p almost a free month :).

So far Im dead chuffed :)
 
Im on 20mb, thinking of going up to 50mb, but heard and read things of how the superhub (they want 30 quid for this!) is a pile of junk so im kind of holding off for the minute.

100mb is a totall overkill IMO well it is for me.
 
Can I get some OCD support to change the title to "100Mb"? :p

When we got 50Mb we requested the modem and router seperate and got it. The free Dlink wirelessAP is sat in the cupboard in the garage.

The cost between the 50 and a 100 is a tenner .. so no brainer for me :p ..we got hub and the tivo(there top box) box free
 
We've got 100Mbps, it is absolutely stunning.

We have a house full of students who have a bad habit of downloading everything and anything so it is necessary :D
 
You almost wanna download just cause its so fast 500MB file in roughly 10 Min's max, downloaded that game from steam was just under 5 GB took around 15 minutes.
