Didn't realise there were so many manufacturers early on.
 
i love the telesales dell 'ad', where a guy phones in to say

"these are great, it's porno machine"

etc..


can't search for it as i'm in work :)
 
Does anyone remember 'the purple shirts' advert when dual core CPUs first came out?
Helpless woman walks into store, looks at some cheapo PC
Sales guy reels off some rubbish about specifications and mentions dual core processor
Woman asks "dual core processor"?!?!!? in a puzzled voice
Sales reject says "yes, it allows you to upload and download at the same time"

I remember watching in disbelief that even they could come out with such rubbish.

A classic surely

And they still say much the same thing now! They are selling dell inspiron laptops and now say stuff along the lines of "browse and work on photo's easier" lol My old K62 450 could do that lol
