Hi,

What boards/chipsets support overclocking memory to 3200mhz on the 10400f.

I keep reading different things some say you need a Z board some say you can do it on B board.

Also do all boards run the CPU at 4.3?

Thanks

Z boards allow CPU overclocking (K suffix only) and RAM overclocking; B560 boards allow RAM overclocking only and CPUs run at stock frequency.

The max turbo frequency (all cores) at stock, is 4 Ghz I believe. I don't think any decent B560 board would struggle with a 4 Ghz 6-core.

Yeah thanks man, my friend has got the pc now, they got 10400f and b560 mortar board. They are well happy with it, good deal on the parts.

The reason I posted was we were confused over the b460 and b560. I understand difference now.

As you said they have 4ghz all core and 4.3 turbo and the ram is running at 3200mhz.

So everything sorted now and running well.
