1055T Core Speed Issues

I've recently purchased an 1055T and a Gigabyte 890GPA-UD3H. Im currently having some issues which i cannot seem to figure out.

My frequency on the first core (core 0 ) keeps clocking down to 800Mhz. Now i now this is a feature , however i have disabled this feature.

All the other cores read at 2.8Ghz and i've changed the power setting in windows 7 to high performance.

Now this wouldn't be a problem however when i stress test the cpu the first core does not scale back to up 2.8Ghz. The first core just stays at 800Mhz.

What am i doing wrong here?

What is your multiplier set too?

I have experienced this too. Once they get past 60c I noticed the issue.

In the bios its set to 14 x 200

but the first core shows 4 x 200

Ive checked temps and it idles at 28/29 C

Issue has been fixed, the problem is an issue on Gigabyte and some MSI boards and their bios. Quick update of my bios fixed the issue. It seems a lot of people are having this issue.
