Okay guys I've been trying to do this with help of lots of guides and it's still constantly resulting in freezes, lock-up's and blue screens such as IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION, etc.

Can anybody help me overclock my 1055T? My specs are:

CPU: 1055T @ 2.8Ghz (200 * 14) (Stock)
CPU Voltage: 1.35V (Stock)
NB VID: 1.375V
RAM: 1600Mhz (Stock)
RAM Timings: 7-9-7-15-30

Can anybody help me out with telling me actually how to overclock successfully as all the guides I have used don't work :/

Thanks

The thing that also confuses me is that if you up the FSB on the CPU it takes the frequency of the RAM with it so it's not at 1600, it's at some random weird number like 1575 or 1706 or something weird like that.

I have the Corsair XMS3 1600Mhz RAM so it's fine at 1600.

So you're telling me that I can take the CPU up to about 215 * 14 but make sure my RAM frequency stays below 1600? My motherboard doesn't let me change the RAM multiplier, only its frequency :(

I'm aiming to try and get my clock to the same as yours HeX.

I would like to be able to get my 1055T to 3.8Ghz whilst keeping my ram at 1600mhz or as close to as possible.

Could you just explain what you want me to do in a little more detail? It confused me a little.

I just tried doing it as close to what I can do to yours and I still get blue screens every single time I boot up, I couldn't even get into windows.

Tried doing the same, I can't manually set voltages in my BIOS otherwise it just BSOD's anyway, it's a bit funny with it. It's not working :S

I've been trying still for the past few hours but my CPU just will not budge, not even to 3GHz.. Can anybody at all help me shed some other light on this? :S
