Hey guys, I currently have the 1060 Gigabyte Windforce 3GB edition and was wondering if there are any card under £300 that I could upgrade to, that would give me increased performance when it comes to 1080p gaming and if there is any point of upgrading or whether I'm looking at £400+ for an upgrade.

Thanks guys.

tbh mate I would wait. Next gen should be here soon. spring, early summer. GPU prices are still stupid. No need to waste money if you can help it.

Yeah guess that's what I'm going to do, the 1060 isn't bad but would like a nice push in performance. Any expectations what the prices of cards like 1070 and 1080 will be like when the new cards are released?

given amd hasn't got anything sensible to counter the nvidia top end, i'd be surprised if nvidia will try to milk the current gen for that bit longer.
and given the price of titan v, i'm sure we'd be taken for another ride by nvidia for next gen cards.
double whammy.

second-hand is the way to go :D

Ah right, people will be rushing to sell their cards when the new ones come out, hadn't though of that.
