1060 vs 1660.

Hey guys,

I have decided to get a cheapish Nvidia GPU to use as a spare / stop gap card.

Change of plan, as GPU is fine.

I mainly play CS GO and BFV. Would a 1060 be OK as it is only a temp, or would there be a sufficient difference on the 1660?

Obligatory RX 570/580 post, if you're not tied to G-Sync.

RX570 - cheap as chips, blows the 1050Ti out the water, very close to the 1060, and you get 2 free games with the new AMD50th promotion (Division 2 & WWZ)

Hey guys,

Been change of plan.

2080 is fine, updated to latest drivers and played some cs and BF5 and all is well. I get paranoid easily

I don’t use the 2080 to it’s potential so have purchased a 1660ti and am not going with a stop gap card..and selling the 2080 on the forum here.
