1066... how?

I have this motherboard:

ASUS P5Q Deluxe

And this Ram:

with settings on Auto it goes to 800 Mhz.

There is a setting in the bios to select 1066, but as soon as I select this I get no POST.

So i've increase the Voltage from Auto to 2.2v still nothing...

I've tried other 1066 memory as well, but as soon as I flick the bios setting to 1066 nothing happens.

In my OLD motherboard I had to go to something to unlink the FSB from the processor to the RAM (Or something like that, cant remember exactly)

But I cant see anything like that on this board, help! Whats the official way of setting up 1066 memory?

If you could get some photos of your BIOS we will be able to help you find the settings you need

There are absoloutly TONS of settings, will take me a while but I'll crack open the blackberry

Can you post the following
What CPU you have and if not stock, what FSB speed and multiplier you have set
What is the memory divider currently set to?

2.2v is a bit high, try 2.1

Thanks, I did try that, didnt seem to make any difference.

I've got pics of the bios, i'll upload after work

Also going to check if there is an updated BIOS too
