1070 gone ?

OK so my 16 year old has a Zotac 1070 Amp Extreme in her system and I'm thinking it may have gone ?

she was playing BF3 when the game froze and there were pink and green specs all over her monitor , so she tried to restart but now on the monitor is says " No Signal "...I have not looked at it myself yet , so I'm just wondering what it might be ?

Certainly sounds like a GPU failure, try the card in another PC to double check if you can.

It does sound like it could be the gpu. Are the fans spinning ok when the pc is running ?

OK so...I put another GPU in ( MSI 1070 ) and the PC booted up straight away

Good indicator that it's the card that's causing problems if it boots with a different one installed.

Mind you saying all this I also have an amp extreme 1080 and my BF keeps freezing too lol
