1070 to 3060 upgrade?

3060 £500

The 3060 is up to 50% faster for 150% more money.

If I wrote that 50% more of something is worth it for 150% more money during my school maths exam, I would fail. My maths teacher would question my logic and give me some percentage based homework so I can learn it.
 
Wow this is frustrating.
My case: Maximum graphics card length: 12.5" (318 mm)
My graphics card: L=320 W=129 H=55 mm

It's a very sturdy drive bay and the bit in the way runs all the way up the case (Antec 302 Three Hundred Two Mid Tower Gaming Case). To be honest i think id' struggle to get it in even if it was 5mm bigger. I don't have the tools or ability to make it workable.

time for a new case methinks. Personally I would hack it out with a junior hacksaw or dremel. I've done this in the past.
