1070Ti or wait for custom VEGA 64 cards?

Hi all,

I've not posted for a while but I built a new PC a few months back (with a lot of help on here) that has since sat relatively unused as I'm yet to purchase a GPU. I have a Ryzen 7 1700 combined with an X370 board with 16GB of 3000MHz Corsair Vengeance RAM.

I was waiting for the VEGA 64 custom cards to be released as I thought it'd be nice to have an all AMD system but there's an upcoming 1070Ti that would look perfect in my current build. Why is there seemingly no sign of the custom VEGA cards? It has been a while since the reference cards were released.. are they never coming? How to the both perform when pitted against each other?

Anyway, I just wanted to put my thoughts down to see if somebody could help me make my decision. Also, I'm currently on an old TN 1080p monitor but will be upgrading to something a lot better after Christmas to take advantage of the PS4 Pro as I play a lot of FIFA 18 competitively, if that makes a difference(?).

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for everyone's input. I'm happy to settle for one of the 1070Ti's as the white one suits my build perfectly! They're also well within my budget.

I'm not really aware of the difference between G-Sync and Freesync but I was after an IPS 1440p/144hz monitor as it'll be a massive upgrade to what I have now.
