Hey folks, I just got my shiny new 1080 which is very nice. I've got an issue with my second monitor however which is on the HDMI port. It's visible in Windows device manager and Nvidia control panel but apparently not receiving a signal. I did a clean driver install and tried booting with just that monitor (Asus VS248) but it won't come on.

Any input welcome, thanks.

It won't detect it, I just get a red message saying 'didn't detect another display', which is obviously wierd since it's visible in device manager.

It's also visible in the Nvidia control panel multi display tab. I got a new HDMI cable too.

It was all working fine with my old gtx970.

Is the monitor definitely on and set to the correct input?
Does it work when its the only monitor?
Is it still blank when you press identify in display settings?
Can you switch the cable with the other monitor?

Thanks guys. The monitor has power and shows the ASUS splash screen and 'DVI no signal' error message. No it doesn't work when the only monitor, I can't switch to the other monitor (ROG Swift PG278Q) as it doesn't have an HDMI. The identify button works for monitor 1 but not 2.

I tried the project desktop but nothing happens on the various options.
