I think its going to be entirely dependant on just how competitive the 2070 is and how willing Nvidia are to shift stock.

They have priced the 20xx cards so high that they don't need to drop the 10xx cards. Clever stuff see.
They aren't going to drop the price of a 1080ti below that of a 2070 if they perform the same.

It’s all going to be down to the performance of the 20 series cards in gaming performance.
Ray tracing performance won’t really be the main buying point for most.
For example if the 2070 is say 20% quicker than a 1080 or even match a 1080Ti they are still going to be priced high because the 20 series are priced stupidly high as it is.
