1080 SLI with standard bridges?

Seems to be some comments from people coming through in other threads about experience of SLI with standard flexible bridges (either just one or two together), versus HB bridges.

Any info that people can share with the rest of us? I was planning to trial flexible bridges in the first instance when my cards (finally) arrive, but would get an LED bridge now if people have data to suggest it will make a difference in real world usage.

Just ran Firestrike Ultra but at 8K to really stress the system.

Both Flexi bridge and HB bridge systems have stutter.

To get rid of stutter you need a proper hardware fix like the one found on the GTX 690.

NVidia have said there are performance gains beyond 4K so this is why I used 8K in the first post I made.

Thanks for the info - very helpful. Will probably go with an LED bridge as I'm hoping to run at high frame rate at 1440p. Will be interesting to see if I can notice the difference versus flexi.

Now if only I actually had the cards...

Why not try with 2 Flexi Bridge, it should be the same as HB Bridge.

I don't think I have 2 the same but will have a look later.

Worse still the single Flexi bridge performed better than the HB one on SOM ME in the post above.

SLl would not work without the bridges.

Seems a little ridiculous that it is still nowhere to be found considering its so extra specially made just for the 1080 etc... Anyone know when the Nvidia stock ones are out, or vendor reps when are yours coming (think Ben @EVGA said end of June for theirs).

HB bridges can already be ordered from nvidia uk direct. Mine has been dispatched.
