I'm just curious but what effect would running the extra 100mv on a 1080 Ti through afterburner have on the longevity of the card if any over say, 12-24 months ?

ALL Pascal cards, but the Kingpin, are limited to 1.093v. The voltage bar on MSI AB does nothing.
The only way to allow more voltage, requires soldering cables on the PCB.

No hof etc can also be given extra voltage no issue at all with the correct tools.

In any case 100mv is fine.
