Just curios...

I have a Corsair AX750, so 750W.
Would that be enough to SLI FTW3, no OC's on the cards?
How about a little OC on the cards?

My 4770K is OC'd though, 4.6GHz @ 1.18v.

PS. Not sure if this should be on GPU or PSU section of the forums hehe

It should be ok, but on the limit.

I would say each 1080ti could hit 300 W max from the wall (extreme estimate), but in SLI I'd be surprised if you'd get that level of using on both as 100% SLI performance is unlikely. So under 600 W for both.

Remember your PSU should run up to 800W from the wall. Getting a power saving energy meter plug is well worth it to check, cost around £10.

That would leave you just over up to 200 W from the wall the rest of the system.

Well I have one of those meters, im checking my power use right now with 1 FTW3.
Just wanted to make sure it will work and doesnt break or pop anything before I insert it for SLI

Looking at the jonnyguru review it can take 850 W from the wall. And it has overload protection so it you did load it too much it should just shut down rather than blowing up.

So use your meter and check, loading one card then both, then the CPU. And see how much they use. Let us know it would be interesting and useful for others.

My PC hits around 400 W with full load on the card and CPU. Running alt coin mining as a test on both CPU and GPU as it's more consistent than a gaming bench.

Not really especially if both cards are overclocked and at full optimization.

I don't think it would run properly on a 750w from experience, i never tested how much my Ti's used when i had SLI but im sure it would have been more than 750w.

With a single 1080Ti oc'd and my oc'd CPU at 4.5ghz my system uses around 540w from the wall.

I'm going to say:

How about a little OC on the cards?-YES , I know the guy how is mining on 750W psu with 4x1080ti (memory is downclock, and he's small OC on core +110)
